We received an updated photo of our little EG today. Totally unexpected. I knew to expect a new photo every once in a while, but not a new one after just 2 weeks!
Anyway...can't wait to show her sweet little face...sooner rather than later I hope!

Since we are having little bit escorted, we have to put together a travel bag for her. This will be sent to AAI and they will get it in the hands of her escort. There are a few things still to get, like another photo album and a magna doodle and a pair of shoes. I just didn't want to be getting this together on top of getting ready for Christmas and everything that comes with that!
We had a general list of what they recommend, so we hit it! The girls picked out the toys for her to play with on the plane. JK has already asked when I'm gonna get her backpack monogrammed like hers and LB and AA's...a true southern girl!
Ahhhh...retail therapy...it's the best...

I love looking at these outfits b/c I know that "not to long from now" we will be seeing her in person! I remember awhile ago wondering if hearing the official news of a little girl waiting to be flown to you, to us...IF it would feel like every other grandchild...and guess what IT REALLY DOES! It's not even a different kind of excitement, it's the same giddy anticipation we have felt w/each girl born into your family. NOW THAT'S COOL!

Reading your journey on here is incredible!!! I am so excited to see her precious little face and looking forward to seeing a first family photo with her. Get that bag monogrammed!! She is going to be a true southern girl with monogrammed stuff and hairbows! :)
